Club Knockout Comps

Well its that time of the year again, just got my entry form for the 2012 club knockout competitions.
Im eligible to play in 6 of the 10 competitions including all the pairs comps.
Question for all is how many do you enter and what is your criterior for which ones you choose.
IE Do you enter them all in a show of support for the club, do you pick the ones you think you might have a chance of winning or do you select the few you think you will enjoy the most and actually have the time to organise and play in.
My self Ive gone for 4, open singles, seniors singles, rabbits singles and one of the pairs comps
even though I know it will be a push to get them all played on time.

We don't have as big a choice but I do the 3 I qualify for.

H'cap singles knockout.

And another singles knockout that is half the difference, and that's what a player starts either up or down. For example a 20 h'capper 'v' a 10 h'capper has a 10 shot difference and would start 5 up but then both play shot for shot.

This is probably a silly question but how do they adjust your h/c based on match-play comps? For instance if you stuffed someone with 5 holes left to play can they project/adjust accordingly?

Think for the summer ive got singles, low hcap singles, pairs and mixed pairs entered, have to qualify for the scratch singles. Still in the winter pairs and singles too!

Not right away however if you blow all the competition away with holes to spare it can be looked at during the annual handicap review.

It doesn't have to wait until Annual Review - Clause 23 can be invoked at any time the Handicap Committee can justify action.

Of course they could do this also, just highlighting that matchplay results are looked at in the review also.
