club cleaning

I think some people on here have a little dose of OCD!

Wipe each club after each shot, carry a little brush in case grooves need a clean. Apart from that ill clean the heads at max twice a year, dont bother with the grips, I just replace them after 2 year.

And as for cleaning my shoes......as if!! They get a quick clean with the air blower thingy after a round but thats about if for me!!

This is why you look like Compo on the course and I look like Mr Daz.

Its pointless looking the part though if you game isnt upto it! ;)

....or do you just knock that lump of mud off from the last time you played before you play your next shot ???

That's me :o :o :o

Can't say I've ever cleaned my clubs, I might poke a snapped teepeg into the grooves every now and then whilst waiting to play a shot and I occasionally wipe the clubface with a grubby towel if I've taken a mahooosive divot.

Are they meant to be cleaned?

There was a post a little while back on grip cleaning, and someone mentioned that if you put a cup of milton in with fairy liquid and warm water it works well. I tried it and worked well for me, took me 5 diff shops to find the milton, but it is very good imo.

:)

I always wipe the clubhead after a shot, and probs wash/clean the clubs in soapy water every couple of weeks, but shoes are a different matter.
I cant stand startin a round with mucky shoes.......

I've started carrying my clubs again and the best bit about it is walking down the fairway (well... Rough) cleaning the club you just used. I love clean shiny clubs and it makes me feel slightly better when you take a nice clean club out of your bag.

Shoes... With the air compressor thingy and that's about it.
