Have had one on test for a few days now and am verging on ordering tomorrow.

I see from a search that a couple of people have bought them - if you're reading do you have any regrets?

The one I've had on test I was allowed to take away from the Srixon / Cleveland centre at Maidenhead and is fitted to me (1" longer and 2 deg upright). Am I right in thinking I'm unlikely to be able to get a demo of other clubs on test to my spec?

Wrong section. Ask the experts.

You'll be able to pick up a Ping demo easily in that spec although it would be advisable to get fitted as different manufacturers have different standard lies.

Doh! I wondered if I'd missed something as there seemed to be a few more active threads in that section.:o

I have had mine for a month now and, at the price I paid for them, I have found them to be an excellent purchase. Easy to hit without being ugly, great feeling out the sweet spot, good ball flight and a bit more spin on the shorter irons despite conforming to the new rules. For the price I paid (under £250 for 5-PW) they were a steal.

I hit them at the FoA Cleveland demo day and liked them a lot although 45 minutes before your tee time wasn't the ideal time to be window shopping. I am down Maidenhead a lot but haven't seen many people using the fitting centre lately

Have tried them and liked them. Which iron have you got as the CB ones are a tad easier to hit than the muscle back shorter irons? You get loads of spin on them. Thats the one thing I was not keen on, to much backspin for me.

Its the 7 I've got here. Will have a go with something shorter later.

They're only £350 4-pw on Snainton Golf at the moment and my pro says he'll match it.

They are selling them at Lefthanded golf for £249. See if he will match that for you?

If you want to try custom fit clubs from other suppliers I'd highly recommend the Leaderboard Golf centre in Reading. They have all the major manufacturers and for £25 you can get custom fit and try them all.

You get free rounds and other add ons too with them. Definetely worth visiting them I bought my clubs there.

I know what I'd say if I was asked that :D

Cheers Slicer - I might just do that. My pro (Jason Brant at East Berks who I highly recommend) advised me not to jump on the CG16s just yet if I'm not 100% sure so am going to do a bit more trying I think.
