Cleaning clubs

the cause of the 4+ hour round.

Wipe it with a towel as you walk after every shot. Jobs a good un!

I do agree with thecraw here, it is a pain in the butt when you see people play their shot, get the towel out, wipe the club, spit on the club, clean it with the wire cleaner, wipe it with their towel again, put it back in their bag and then walk on towards their ball! This is performed after every single shot!

Just do it whislt walking to your ball!

I suspect the manufacturers put the grooves on the heads for some good reason. So for whatever reason it is, I keep them clean. Clean them before every game and inspect them throughout the game and clean if needed

I tend to always properly clean them before a comp or playing a course im really looking forward to. An old toothbrush does the job! I always wet my towel at one end before a round especially in the summer to help get any tough dry dirt off

after every shot, and this time of yeah after most practice swings. then once every other game their in doors, full clean and scrub and the big is emptied and checked for crap before being reloaded.

Where did I say I do all that before moving off?

The towel hangs on my bag. The brush hangs on my bag. The bag is on a magic trolley that moves all by itself.

Do you see Billy Foster or Steve Williams walking about scrubbing clubs??? A wipe, while walking with a towel will suffice and quicken your step!

there is a cleaning station between the driving range and the first tee right next to the practice putting green at my club. i always stop over to clean my clubs

big game tomorrow mate - you best get scrubbing

The only way HID will let me bring the clubs into the house, is if I clean them after playing. The irons tend to have a lot of the course hanging off them.

Normally a little rub with my cloth for an important shot if im on for a birdie maybe.
Thats confidence, when your in the fairway and decide your on for a birdie .... or do you mean you only ever clean you'd putter :)

Personally I give them a wipe before putting them back in the bag, and I check them before playing a shot .... just I case I forgot the first part :)
