Finally decided to give the HackMotion a go today and the range. First time using it and did the 10 shots diagnose and at top of the swing I was too cupped 50% of the time but at impact I was 90% - so my body although a bit out at the top has figured a way to get it right at impact. I have a lesson tomorrow so might take it with me to show the pro.
Be interesting to use this more because I hit a draw naturally but bad shot with driver is leaving the face open with a in to out swing path. So opening the face at the top probably is what’s cause ing the problem for me.

There are multiple patterns that are equally valid. The "benchmark" they apply to your swing seems to be solely based on the wrist position at address.

I'd think the optimal way to use it is to match what "pattern" your swing is closest to and then see yourself if you need to move curve to match the pattern closer...

The following video has all the patterns:

Note that Option D doesn't even go to into flexion -- ever.

I think you are overcomplicate it, whole idea of it is to have as flat line as possible through the swing.
I've attached few pictures and you can see when I was using strong grip and weak grip

Thanks for sharing the pictures, isn't it exactly the point - you get "green" ticks with different swing patterns? :)

whole idea of it is to have as flat line as possible through the swing.
Neither of your patterns look flat, unless you meant just the back swing (from address to top). Even then don't think keeping it flat is the objective for everyone as can be seen on different pro golfers patterns, e.g.:

Hence your conclusion about the objective being to have the flat line only proves the point the Hackmotion data can be misinterpreted by the users and they can end up chasing wrong things for them...

Ultimately, you can use it how you like... just sharing my understanding based on their data presentations. ;)

ive never heard of it TBH, the swyguide did the same sort of thing i think?
They have been around for a while but recently did quite a bit of marketing via YT including Iona/Crossfield etc. The USP in the game of gadgets to collect a lot of user data to draw some conclusions, similar like TPI talk about what your vertical jump is supposed to be if you want to drive it long or how Arcos says what driving distance is for low handicappers. So their "science" is based on leading / trailing wrists positions and seems like they have managed to get a number of pros to be measured on it.

Not familiar with Swygiude? I used to have Golfsense years ago that had 1 sensor attached to your glove and was more focused on timing data (back swing/downswing).
