CL predictions

Pretty obvious Nistelrooy still hasn't got over this.
Poor form IMO

I don't think it's 'poor form' at all and vNistelrooy is probably correct - there was nothing really to celebrate in that way imo.

It does show how Managing is all about managing/controlling the huge egos - that border on/cross into arrogance within a successful team and that's where I have huge respect for how the top guys do it - even as I reckon vNistelrooy was also right in his description of Ferguson!

He's just scored in the CL final & helped his team to win it,not sure what the problem with his celebration was tbh.

So what as a mod you are not allowed to have opinions? You really are unbelievable.

If a poster called another poster an idiot we would get a warning or infraction - same with getting involved in tit for tat and digs at members on here

Ran off on his own (away from his "team mates") ripping of his shirt like "I AM the man".
Proper knobhead stuff that IMO, I thought it the instant he did it.
There's no I in team and there's no grace in Ronaldo

I can see where you're coming from but tbh if I was him I'd probably think I was the man aswell.
I was never a fan of his & he can be quite annoying, but he is an awesome player.
It's not like he's spat or bit anyone.

Which member would that be then - surely as a mod you wouldn't be a part of tit for tat and sly digs at forum members ?

I have to say I'm in agreement with LP here, I've noted a few posts from Mods in my time here that (going by forum rules) would possibly result in an infraction. Mods should definitely have an opinion but sly wee digs which, by their very nature, could provoke responses that may result in an infraction for the respondent should be beneath Moderators imo.

Maybe a power trip? They do say power corrupts. Lol.

Show me where a mod called another poster an idiot then. After all nothing but proof will do you.

Oh and if the cap fits.........

Game was over! Had he been one of the previous scorers, them maybe acceptable. But neither of those scorers celebrated that daftly and the circumstances didn't warrant that ridiculous OTT (it's one of my Football hobby horses - changing it from a Yellow to a Red would be fine by me!) celebration.

More likely to happen with the likes of Ronaldo, but my opinion of the 'style' is the same whoever it is!

If I was a manager I would ban my players from taking their shirts of when scoring, you know it's a yellow card so why do it?
It's not as bad as players swapping shirts at HT tho. Hate to see that.

Swapping shirts at half time is stupid - can't understand it

Would like to see them scrap the yellow card for shirt removed etc - it's great to see players celebrate with passion

And have never seen a problem with players taking their shirt off ( unless your Forlan )

Fair enough but it was in a different context. At least you win another argument eh Phil. Days must fly by for you  anyway at least no I wont have to listen to you anymore.

Didn't realise I was in an argument or looking to win one ?

I believe I have just posted an opinion about a footballer ? Not sure what the problem is tbh.

And guess that means my time here is coming to an end then

I agree, definitely one of the stupid rules in the game.
Not sure who it was but I think one of the Liverpool players swapped shirts with Eto at HT . I know others do it but remember that from last season.
Showing too much respect to your opponent IMO.

I think you could be right about swapping with Etoo - remember that , might have been Sturridge ?

I know Kaka was reported to always wear a fresh shirt for second half and people used to,rush to grab it at half time
