chipping drill

Tried out a new chipping drill that was in the is month's GM which seems to work very well.

Basically you lift your right heel of the ground for short chips with a SW/LW to ensure that the weight is on the front foot, this seems to promote a clean strike & stop any thin/fat shots, anyone else tried this before?

I don't lift my heel but always try and make sure I'm heavily weighted to the front foot.

No, but there is a rumour going around my club that one player (half decent as well) did this SO much he plays his shots like this all the time!

Actually, I think I did try it for a few shots once.

Personally, I like chipping with my V-easy. Works a treat.
