Chester 23rd-24th Oct

Hi All
Me & a mate are looking for a couple of courses to play in the Chester area on 23rd & 24th Oct. We are considering Aldersey Green & Upton on Chester. Anybody played them ? or if you have any other suggestions, all info welcome.
Obviously if you are a member at a club in this area & would like to invite 2 guests for a game then even better.

Have you looked into N Wales ?
Prestatyn & Abergele both 1/2 hour from Chester,and both good courses,or take a look at Old Padeswood & Padeswood & Buckley,next door to each other and approx 15 mins from Chester,cannot help out on the requested dates but could find an alternative in November if you are up this way.

Played both courses and both are decent though Aldersey has lots of water on it and tbh i thought its a bit too much.(14 holes has drnk on)

Upton is very nice and i would recommend playing Pennant Park too which is about 20mins from chester. One of my fav courses in north wales is Pennant.

Also look at Prestatyn GC they do crackin deals on green fees and is playable all year round as its a links track.
