Championship Courses

Dunbar, Open qualifier......has been for many years. Elkington Q at dunbar last time and nearly won Muirfield.

Scottish PGA Championship
Scottish Ladies Championship
Dunbar also hosted the Scottish Assistants’ Championship six times.
Scottish and British Boys championship.
Scottish Amateur Championship
British Ladies Amateur Championship
Senior Open Championship final qualifying.
Ladies Home Internationals and the Seniors Home Internationals

We have just held the Hampshire County Championships for men, and will shortly be holding the ladies as well. Might have something to do with it being our Centenary. We held Openn qualifying for five years but that is about it I think.

We do hold a big amateur competition, Selbourne Salver, which runs in conjunction with the Hampshire Hog at North Hants. Justin Rose played it it a few times but never won at Blackmoor. What ever happened to him ?;)

I think JR is hoping to be able to earn enough to afford to buy a house in the 'Blue Triangle' of Fleet. Might take him a while though and not sure the locals would take to his Americanised accent :)

Guess if his application to join North Hants was accepted (fussy they are) he'd have a reasonable chance of winning their club championship - though he'd have to give up his pro status - for what that's worth.

Current course has held some county seniors champs I think - a previous club (East Ren) has held Scottish Amateur and others.

Think he won the North Hants Club Championship quite a few times. He also holds their course record, which the Club try and protect when the top amateurs play there. I imagine he is an honorary member.
