Champions - 1st Board event win :)

6th & final round of the IGC scramble at my club, we had a 2 point lead in the best 5 of 6 rounds event. Our lowest was a 39 so we had to either score more today and our opponents beat it by 3 or they had to get 41 to tie or 42 to win

They shot 39 meaning the event was ours regardless of score today. We were made up of a 9, 12 & 2 x 28 h/c so played off 8 for the comp. Scores of 49, 48, 44, 43 and 39 were enough to see off the other 9 teams.

Proper chuffed. To top it all off I was striping it off the tee and hit several GIR today, a shame my chipping and putting was pants but still a very happy bunny

Medal next week so back to my normal dross no doubt

unfortunately it didnt seem that popular with the 'regulars'

The best of it was throughout the rounds we all did our bit, granted the lower hc guys did the lions share but us high cappers had quite a few long putts and chip ins so all in all a great team performance :thup:
