Celebs who’ve passed

If you have to use the word apparently does that therefore disqualify them from being a celeb?
Not necessarily. It just means I'd never heard of them. Im sure there are plenty of music fans on the forum that would have heard of him.

As far as I'm concerned, if you've got a Wikipedia page with more than 5 lines, you're a celeb!

I play golf with a guy who's Wikipedia page runs to 11 lines. He's in good health but should things go south for him at least I know I can give him a mention here.

Eva Schloss (nee Geiringer) aged 96.

Eva survived Auschwitz along with her mother. Her father and brother died there.
They had been friends and neighbours of Anne Frank's family.
In 1953 Eva's mother married Anne's father Otto who had lost his wife and two daughters. So Eva was a would-be step sister of Anne Frank.

Eva eventually came to London and married Zvi Schloss. They became UK citizens. She lived in London for 70 years. Co-founder of Anne Frank Trust UK. Awarded MBE in 2013.

A truly remarkable woman.

As a birthday treat I was bought a tour of the new Spurs stadium and the host was Martin Chivers, what an absolute gentleman. He was a great player and I will always remember his goal against Wolves in one of the European finals. RIP big man.

Sad news I watched Chivers a lot and he was very good and a great favorite at Spurs I can still recall the Chivers for England chants at White Heart Lane.

Terry Yorath
Once walked into the Gents in a nightclub in Cardiff and a a few moments later was followed by Terry Yorath and Mike England who stood either side of me. They were casually discussing two ladies they had just eyeballed, literally over my 5'8 head.
I thought, "No, not a good time to ask for autographs" 😅
