We're in Forres, about half an hour along the coast and the thunderstorms last night were amazing with a torrential downpour. The funny thing was, after dropping some stuff back at HID's horsey yard near Nairn about 3pm this afternoon, the really dark clouds were coming in off the Firth straight over Castle Stuart & yet a couple of miles to the side there was nice sunshine...
Maybe God does have a sense of humour after all...
always thought that they could do with some water features on the course.
Shame for the players and spectators, but no course on earth could cope with 3inch of water in an hour.
could have just played GUR on the 1st and 12th and put some yellow and red stakes up on the 11th and 9th.
