Hi,

other half's caris a Zafira 1.8 , needs a main service, have not got a clue what to look for or what is a fair price , any one know what I should be paying.

My Seat would cost around £150 for a main service from an authorised independant VAG garage.

Not sure if that helps or not.

I'd say closer to £200 or maybe a bit more if it includes a cambelt change.

Or you could ask a Vauxhall agent how much it is then just halve it.

I think (think) the cambelts are due at either 40k or 4 years on these. If it is due, you'd be looking at a lot more using a Vauxhall main agent. I reckon cambelt and main service wouldn't see much change out of £500.00.
Just a main service would be about £250.00 I guess.
A smaller "independant" should be able to do it for about £175.00 or thereabouts, add another £175.00 for the cambelt change.
