Car projects people may be hiding???

Yea Photobuckets link feature is a little screwy at the moment, you are better taking the direct link and adding the
tags yourself.

I'm with ImageShack & I'm really struggling to get my pics up!
I get the following options but none seem to do the job!

Anyway, currently I am working on a 3.5 tonne trailer for my last project which was a P38 Range Rover which I bought for a song at the beginning of the year. It's a 4.6L V8 so not surprising it was pretty cheap as I only get 17 mpg from it. Still it will be a good tow car for my other past projects.

Isnt that the bmw sourced 4.6 v8? If so, I have that very engine in the wifes 4.6 IS X5, great engine, not heard of an actual engine fail yet but as you say, mpg isnt great, did manage 24mpg a good few times on longer runs but generally tends to do the school runs and only a couple of miles at a time.

Quickest way is to click on the little photoframe above the text editor on the forum (to the left of the movie reel) and paste the link into that window that appears and click ok, it will automatically add the tags in the correct places.

Could eat your dinner of that Slime!
There is a guy over here keeps and maintains all sorts of green machines, think he might even have a tangi/armoured Landy that was decommissioned years ago.

No probs btw, I had editted your post #13 as I noticed they hadnt displayed as intended.

Thanks matey.
FYI it's a Land Rover Wolf 90" TUL.
Made in limited numbers, (about 1,000 RHD), for the armed forces in 1997 & 1998. Mine's a '97 & was de-commissioned last month.
And I LOVE it!

Hi Brendy, it's the P38 with Rover 4.6. A great engine if looked after properly. Prone to electrical problems though.

Loving the Austin Seven!! Lovely!!

Just had mine back from the bodyshop. Had roof painted gloss black so it looks like glass and the front bumper resprayed. Just need the wheels refurbishing due to hitting a kerb in the snow :(

I'll post some pics when I can :)

Sad day today .............................. my baby's gone.
Went this afternoon.

Had it up for sale but couldn't believe how quickly it went, especially considering that I hadn't finished the refurb.
Never mind. I've found another & had an offer accepted.
Will post pics soon.

Just started work stripping down my V6 Astra tonight for an engine and running gear rebuild.
Got a set of high lift cams, freeflow inlet manifold, enlarged throttle body and uprated fuel pressure regulator. Should make a wee bit of difference once its back up and running.

I've recently bought another Wolf!
It's mechanically excellent but needs a lot of work on the body.
The paint is poor, the roll cage needs a bit of work, the hood needs a small repair & so many things are the wrong colour!
I painted 51 seperate bits today, all in lovely satin black, whilst the body is being sprayed by someone with far more ability with a paint gun than I have.
I can't wait to get it back, hopefully before this weekend, then I can start putting some bits back on!
