Car projects people may be hiding???

Just wondered if anyone had any vehicle projects going on at the moment??

I have a Skoda Fabia VRS at the moment which I have done a few things. Looking to purchase either a Mk 2 Golf GTI or a VW Corrado VR6.

Just one of my things :)
 
nope but my mate has a mazda mx5 ith a cossie engine in it. I think he will finally get it on the road this summer after 5 years work. wud luv to tinker but golf is taing up my time. I did have a mk1 golf gti 1.6 bloody luved it but was a money pit. great for tearing up the back roads (till the fuel pump fell off mid overtaking). wot u got the vrs upto 200bhp?
 
I did a Mercedes Vito van up a few years ago, then used it to travel around Europe surfing, would love to do it again and take my clubs.

Gonna be driving to a place called pugot rostang in France for a friends wedding later in the year so a good excuse to do it again I guess.
 
I was into the modified car scene in the past. The Civic Type-R (EP3) was what started it all, but was left standard engine wise.
Then came the Evolution TME edition with the 8 MR engine/turbo and plenty of other goodies giving monster power.
Started to do track days with friends, and the Evo proved a money pit.
Ive always loved the K20 engine in the Civic, so the gradual step would be an Integra Type-R(DC5) with OEM LSD which again was modified. Not only was it reasonably cheap to maintain after trackdays, it proved to be a phenomenal track car with full interior and luxuries.
Then got sensible for a while, tried the 4x4's and runarounds before I settled on a Merc.

Hopefully the futures bright, the futures a GTR

Yeah, few things on the Fabia, hybrid turbo, upraded injectors, front mounted intercooler, remapped and now pushing 223bhp/430ft/lb torque :) and I still get 50mpg with all my clubs in the car. Also fitted coilovers, octavia VRS 17" alloys and had the front bumper smoothed off. It's currently in for the front bumper respraying due to stone chips, the roof, rear spoiler and top of the tailgate painting back too :)

Loving the Vito Cherry13!! I 'd love a Transporter to do the same thing mate! but I'd have to tinker with that too!!

Triple_bogey I almost bought and freshly imported Integra DC5 in championship white with the C Pack on it!! Absolutely beautiful car but the insurance was almost £900 and wasnt willing to pay it. :(

I need a Golf GTI Mk2 in my life, but need my house first so i have a garage to put it in :) Will be putting the AAA VR6 engine in there straight away! Nothing like the sound of a V6! Just means more petrol stops :(
 
Used to have a love affair with an Audi RS4 B5 model a while back. A legendary car that cost a fortune to upgrade but with 420 horses and enough room for a washing machine in the back it positivily hit all the right buttons ;) Wished I hadn't sold it.........

Im a golf mk2 nut iv had 5 over the years and love them. Iv had a basic 1.6 just to get me into them then I had 2 x 8v gti 2x 16 v gti and a one of made 320bhp on full boost with 280 torque which got plenty of attention at meets. There was a company that made 3 engines to be put in the mk2 but they only sold 2 and mine was one of them. I dont have iit anymore and deeply regret selling it but I will hopefully buy another project mk2 later this year.

I don't have any at the minute unless you class fixing up an old project car (3.0 V6 Astra) as a "current project" but done loads in the last couple of years. Corsa with C20LET turbo engine, 3.0 V6 Mk4 Astra (mine), Corsa with 2.5 V6, Cavalier with C20LET turbo, Tigra with 2.5 V6 (that went a bit wrong)... We even tried to build a 4x4 Mk4 Astra using the running gear from a Calibra... Shall we say a suspended WIP?
 
I've just done a few little paint jobs on mine and still have one or two left.
I'm getting this as original as possible but didn't have too much to do.

my local garage the owner does up old cars. I think he did a mk1 of those old skool one black number plates, he also done up a jag cant remember but it was minted.

I was into my modified cars and was a member for clubgti back in the early 00's
Had a few modified motors but progressed onto an Impreza Wrx a 3-4 years ago, not so much done to the externals but the engine has been fettled by myself with a bigger turbo, injectors, cobra exhaust 3" turbo back system etc and learned how to map it myself,(fully declared insurance wise) and is putting out around 320 horsies on a good day, up from 215 standard.
