I got a renewal qoute for Direct Line for £761(£150 dearer than last year) this year and that was with 1 extra year no claims and no points etc. I decided to phone them and ask for their cheapest price and straight off the bat they offered it for £530 🤔

Sometimes it's worth paying a little more for a better service.
I could get my ADI insurance cheaper at other companies but I know the one I'm with provide an excellent service when things go wrong.
Cheap isn't always best when it comes to insurance.

I've always been told that the renewals come from the underwriters so they'll always be higher than before, thats why when you ring your broker it will be much cheaper!

As per my last post, Admiral have now sent me a cancellation notice because I haven't given them this code they want from the Gov site which isn't fully operational and through no fault of mine, I can't give them it!

I've now done exactly the same insurance cover with Hastings, I've not only got it much cheaper than Admiral but they've excepted everything I've declared online without this stupid Gov site code!

I am going to complain about Admirals handling of this to the ombudsman as they've hounded me for 6 weeks for this code which I can't access!
