Can't hit irons but can hit everything else

So, my golf game is at it's best at the moment with the exception of my irons which are extremely poor.

How can this be? I'm hitting my driver better than ever and consistently well, but my irons are just not being struck and it's causing a variety of bad shots but mainly fats. Even the better ones are just going nowhere distance wise.

Any ideas from anyone out there, why this would be?

Sounds like you've got used to hitting the ball on the up and are making a similar swing with the irons

try feeling like the right elbow is staying connected to body, it will help finding the bottom of the swing arc.

Total opposite here, can hit irons but the same swing does not work for driver.

Same here, pro wants me to use the same swing for all clubs but my driving and woods have gone to pot, trying to find my old swing for woods and not succeeding at the moment.

I'm no expert, but as far as I'm concerned they're the same swing with a slightly different set up.
