My daughter went over to see a friend, she hasn't seen in a long time, the friends parents are at work and both girls are in the house alone, bar the three dogs. One of the dogs has really bad arthritis and shouldn't be using the stairs, but anyway the girls hear a yelp and find said arthritic dog stuck half down the stairs, back legs on one stair, front on the one below, wimpering as it cannot move, it's backs legs had given up.

So my daughter calls asking for advice, "have you tried picking the dog up", "yes it's to heavy". "Have you tried lifting her paws on to the same step so she can lie down", "yes, but she cries so we don't want to move her". So I advise that they sit with the dog to stop her falling down the remaining stairs.

They sit for an hour, the dog occasionally wimpering, they are getting upset seeing the dog in pain. The dog then farts, takes a whiff of its own smell, decides it doesnt like it, gets up and goes back up the stairs, leaving the girls with the smell sitting on the stairs.

You gotta love dogs.

Poor pooch but just shows the stench overcame the pain!

Max is hilarious when he farts as he jumps up all startled, quick look behind him to see what it was and then sidles over to the other side of the room!

We have 2 dogs one an18 month old jack russel cocker spanial cross and a westie. When the westie farts she looks with disgust at the other and walks off in a huff. It's priceless. Now all I need to do is get it on film.

I remember many moons ago we went on a Family holiday to the Isle of Wight.
The Hotel had a Dog called Wagger and, true enough, the tail never stopped
Unfortunately he had to be followed continually by someone wielding a can of Air Freshener.
Virtually every time he wagged something escaped.......
Funny?
For a 7 year old - or whatever I was - it was pure Heaven

Sorry but I had to laugh at the end, I remember when my Huskey pulled a muscle when chasing a rabbit, she refused to move and the vet even talked about putting her down.

Then 2 days later she was fine running around, that was 6 years ago lol.

Her arse stank as well (well at least I balmed it on her a few times) :D
