Hi,

I’m due to play in a 4BBB competition this Saturday.

As long as I don’t hold up play, and I finish every hole, am I allowed to submit an individual supplementary scorecard?

I think you can, just make sure it’s okay with your partners.

You could do what I do and on the Blue moon that a fun comp is on Don’t enter and play a supplementary instead with a like minded individual.
Plenty of people around who see those types of comps a waste in season.

Nope you can’t submit a supplementary card whilst playing a 4BBB Comp

Supplementary Scores must be played under qualifying score conditions.

So as already said if you are playing in a 4BBB it is unlikely that you would play under those conditions as you are likely to give or receive advice from your playing partner.

An acceptable score for Supplementary Score purposes is any authenticated score under Competition Play Conditions in compliance with the conditions listed in this clause and played over either: (a) an 18-hole Measured Course in either Stroke Play or Stableford format; or (b) a Designated Nine-Hole Course in a Stableford format.

So would that mean, as long as I finished every hole, and someone marked a full 18 hole card for me, I could submit the card or not?
