Whereas on the card you posted the yellow yards is over on the right hand side next to the red yards, which is what says to me the marker was probably correct in using the right hand S.I.

I have never seen a course that has a different SI for white and yellow tees.

If he is wrong, then whoever designed and printed the scorecards is wrong as well and I'd be blaming them, not the golfer.

(we used to have a separate card for nine hole comps to show the stroke indexes as 1-9)
