Was bouncing around another forum ( sorry Gm, was a bad nights sleep ) and notice cally are launching the new big Bertha range 2/12/13, which seems to be aimed at the sldr...

Anyone got any decent info on it.... Nice to see the BB brand being used again

Well that will surpass TM is the amount of clubs released and size of the range

Expect much negativity etc etc etc etc

The more choice the better IMO

Cheers Phil, that response covered all the questions I had....

... But on a serious note , from what I've red the xhot2 is going to be aimed at the older burner/superfast/rbz range with the big Bertha looking at the r9/11/1 fully adjustable market

No negativity here, I don't mind how many clubs they bring out. I know that technique will bring distance and control.

So which one will it replace ?

The RAZR Fit Extreme or the FT ?

Doesn't the RAZR aim currently towards the R1 etc ?

The extreme was aimed at the r1, the big Bertha is aimed at the sldr respectively

Yeah that makes sense

What about the Legacy ? Stopping that possibly or the FT

Wonder what adjustability will be with the new Big Bertha ? An adjustable weight then ?

There's quite a bit of info on another forum, standard 460cc having a slider with core weights and loft, the 440cc having a reversible to reduce cog/spin/flight height....

Yeah there was a lot of talk about Calloway doing a "sliding" weight next year hence why TM brought forward to release of the SLDR to this year as opposed to next

can you relax on the defence of TM ! it has been well documented on here that Callaway release stuff as often if not more than TM these days.

they are both as bad as each other! don't take this sentence the wrong way. what I mean is, I would be reluctant to spend full wack on TM and Cally gear as it will no doubt be superseded by something in 3 months time when it can be picked up at a greatly reduced rate.

don't get me wrong, I love seeing new clubs appear on the market as I know the vast majority of time its just an update in looks as the tech cant have moved forward all that much in the space of 6 months.
