Still trying to get back up to speed with all the new equipment.

Went into American Golf and they had a buy a dozen get a dozen free deal on Callaway SR2 golf balls.

Felt good feel off the putter and are apparently suitable for lower handicappers.

Seemed like a great deal..... is it ??

Well I filled my boots anyway as there were not many left :)

Will keep them for the Spring.

Also got some rocks for the winter as the course is so wet and soft you could stop a cannon ball.

SR2 is OK. Decent spin and distance, durability OK, maybe just a bit "clicky" off the putter - a bit firmer feeling than some but not as bad as previous Cally balls.
A decent all-rounder

Not so much for lower handicap, but for (Driver) swing speeds above 90mph (or thereabouts from memory). The 'SR stands for Speed Regime. SR1 (for my speed) felt fine.

If they feel good off the putter, then that's a pretty good deal.
