Caddies lining up pros on the tee and fairway?

If it's in the rules then it must be OK. I would rather they didn't do it.... but can see the value of it if you want to shoot in the 60's.

as an aside...
I've often wondered just what Tiger's score would be if he had to go look for his own ball in the rough just like us mere mortals instead of 20 people doing it for him.

That would bring my scores down ALOT if all those people looked for my ball!lol

I think there are serious technical issues with the basics if a top pro can't align himself correctly. I think this thing will continue to spread unless the authorities put a block on it. I don't see why they need to have the caddy's help in the first place

Here here !

And like I mentioned somewhere else, Horsey ( I think it was ) was spending so long over the ball before playing his shot, I'm sure it increased his tension, and directly led to some pretty piss poor golf shots.

I don't think banning it is the answer but I would feel pretty stupid if I was being lined up by my caddie and then hit the shot 20 yards off line.
I can line myself up and play a great shot all by myself - admittedly not all the time - so I think it shows a lack of confidence in your own ability if someone has to line you up. And that's just what a pro doesn't need.
