• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

Bye bye old friend, hellooooooo....

Easy now! There may be women and children viewing this...

In all seriousness though, this rain is getting right on my nerves. Each evening when I've been able to go to the club and play a few holes the weather has been disgusting. Last night when I couldn't go, the sun came out. Hence the waggling in the living room. Need my daily fix of having my new shiny in my hands! :D

always had titleist stuff and i'll tell you what i splashed out and traded in to get my 910 d3 an it's the best purchace i've ever made.never found titleist to be any less forgiving or shorter than any other make, and its def more consistent an accurate as others i've tried

That's one thing I really wasn't expecting tarmac - how forgiving it is. I think that's one reason I originally discounted it. I've hit a few out of the heel and toe and immediately thought 'oh crap' but the results haven't been half bad considering. Still early days but so far I'm very, very pleased.

Yes the rain is a real pain at the moment I agree. Anyway though you southern chaps neede the water I know us in the North West certainly don't but it has pelted it down today. Is a covered range not an option to go and hit some Drives at?

We do need the rain, but it feels like we've had a bucketload these last few days. I'm a heavy sleeper and it woke me up early this morning and has been raining for a lot of today too.

I went to the range yesterday, but I'd much prefer to get it on the course for a real work out. Very easy to get set up nice and square at the range, so don't feel it's a true reflection. Still, better than nothing I suppose!

No a range isn't the same but it keeps your eye in and the feeling of swinging a club. Forecast is not good either for most of the UK for the next few days. Saturday seems to be the best day for some area's, us included but by then most inland courses will be sodden or flooded or at worst closed so I share your pain.
