Buying new kit

I'm on the case....just waiting to hear back from them if they can do the 17th...also told them we still prefer nights.........if we do the 17th it has to be around 16:30.........I'm so in the Sierra Hotel India Tango with the missus as she's arranged a BBQ that day and all her family are coming round........not much of a problem except that i'm also playing in the CBL in the morning!!

I reckon if i go out 1st in the CBL and don't stay for a drink that I'll be able to attend the BBQ for approx 1.5 hrs before having to rush back for our Volvo match...

I used to be quite fond of my goolies......:mmm:

Can we not just get James to call round to entertain her while you are out?

Why do I keep doing this?

My bag was fixed last year. I needed nothing. I was playing ok, and liked every club in the bag. No need to change anything, and may be could stop spending on kit.

Nope.

Bought a set of irons. Used them for 6 months, bunged them in the garage, and went back to my titleists.

Bought a new bag. Twice. I have six golf bags.

Bought another set of irons. I like these, a lot, but did I need them? No.

Some new wedges. I didn't need them either. They offer nothing my old ones didn't.

I love my putter. If I can't hole out with my red x, then it's me. I have two other scotties in my wardrobe. I putt fine with these too. So I didn't need a new putter then.

So why have I just bought one?

Are you one of those wealthy southern folk, lol

So what did you buy man..... We need to know!

Google never compromise, gambler, flush.

It's like an oddessey number nine, but more expensive. Or a cleveland classic, but three times the price. I just like the shape, and hate oddessey. They always sit closed to me.

Apparently, they are beautifully made.

Is this the one?????

Sorry but I understand the number of different wedges, putters and sets or irons but SIX bags. Why man - why? Even I'm not that bad (ok take the 14 dozen unused boxes of balls) and my FJ fetish seems appropriate in comparison. What can you do with six bags and what does each one offer that the previous one didn't

I have no idea. It just seems to have happened. I have a titleist carry bag in grey/black, a Wilson one in green, a titleist one in pink, a mizuno pencil bag, a titleist cart bag, a sun mountain h2no, an old titleist vinyl tour bag, and they all have a place in my affections.

if you have the money why not :) so far ive managed to buy a wedge/putter/membership and im already considering selling the wedge because 60 degrees is great for my sky high flop shots but actually trying to hit a ball full power with it is a total mind feck

You should try a 64. They are unbelievable. In so many ways.

Murph, you are not alone.

This year has yielded new irons, wedges, putter and a bag. If you count Christmas you can throw in woods and a hybrid.

The only club in my bag that isn't circa 2012 is my Mizuno MP Fli-Hi 3 Iron...... That's 2011 :D

Where the heck do you keep it all!! I struggle with one bag set of clubs trolley and shag bag!! Plus a load of stuff on a shelf! HID still thinks its spread over the house! Six bags I still can't believe it!

It's out of stock.

It's a limited edition, so if the shop doesn't have one in stock, they are not going to be able to get one in from a supplier.

Why advertise it?

Not in stock at silvermere. Got another one on order, but silly money. I guess I must be silly then. The Cleveland equivalent looks fine, and is £70. the one I'm buying is four times that, and looks identical. Falling for the blurb? Me?
