Why do I keep doing this?

My bag was fixed last year. I needed nothing. I was playing ok, and liked every club in the bag. No need to change anything, and may be could stop spending on kit.

Nope.

Bought a set of irons. Used them for 6 months, bunged them in the garage, and went back to my titleists.

Bought a new bag. Twice. I have six golf bags.

Bought another set of irons. I like these, a lot, but did I need them? No.

Some new wedges. I didn't need them either. They offer nothing my old ones didn't.

I love my putter. If I can't hole out with my red x, then it's me. I have two other scotties in my wardrobe. I putt fine with these too. So I didn't need a new putter then.

So why have I just bought one?

the same reason as I'm now onto my 4th putter this year. I've just got a Yes Sandy off of Deke which I'm looking forward to take out for the first time this weekend. I have no gripe with my Connemara putter but did get rid of an Odyssey sabretooth as i didn't get on with it.

Also the same reason that I'll be after some Nike wedges i the bag to match my new Nike irons. Nothing wrong with my TW9 or tour grinds and I'd recommend them to anyone but I would like to bag to match at some point

Is it too late to change our home course to mission hills, Shenzhen?

I'm on the case....just waiting to hear back from them if they can do the 17th...also told them we still prefer nights.........if we do the 17th it has to be around 16:30.........I'm so in the Sierra Hotel India Tango with the missus as she's arranged a BBQ that day and all her family are coming round........not much of a problem except that i'm also playing in the CBL in the morning!!

I reckon if i go out 1st in the CBL and don't stay for a drink that I'll be able to attend the BBQ for approx 1.5 hrs before having to rush back for our Volvo match...

I used to be quite fond of my goolies......:mmm:
