Bushnell customer service

I have a Bushnell ION2 watch. It works fine.
The other day I wanted to update a course after the layout had been changed, but discovered the app that connects to the watch by Bluetooth no longer works. I installed their new app only to find that it doesn't support the ION2.
After an email exchange with Bushnell support, I'm informed that's just how it is.
This is unspeakably bad from Bushnell. My watch is only about 3years old, and they've EOL'd it already. How recently were they still selling the ION2? I'm pretty sure I'd seen it still available earlier this year. Needless to say, I've told Bushnell that I will never buy anything from them again.
