Sadly only 6700odd (new course) so the tour won't go for it, think it would be difficult in terms of the practice range (even if they try and use the 1st fairway of the old) and getting 5k+ people around. No two convenient starting tees either.

Not all about distance and it will be nice to go to a true classic course as opposed to stadium American style bomber course. Hosted the British Seniors very well recently and it's time to have an event at a Heathland Course. Hope it goes nowhere near somewhere like Belfry

One thing hosting a seniors event. Crowds would have been moderate but if Sky keeping pushing the British Masters, the field improves and the weather is kind they'll be huge crowds that Sunningdale wouldn't cope with. It's the same as Wentworth in terms of being difficult to get around as a spectator.
