Some truly outstanding performances tonight

That magician is out of this world

The lady and her dog were just brilliant

Wonderful choir - worthy top 3

And the show has proved that there is wonderfully talented people residing on our island

I hope they didn't chop that poor dogs leg off for the sympathy vote.

The minute the 3 legged dog came on it was game over. Magician will hopefully get a TV series.

I called it cheating! I had backed the magician at 16/1, after his act he plummeted to 3/1. then the hop-a-long dog came out and all bets were off.. I was lucky enough to cash out for some profit, but it was obvious when the dog appeared it was over for all!!

Irrespective of the quality of the acts (and there were some great ones this year), BGT is what is lacking on TV, good, honest family entertainment. It is not cruel or mean spirited to even the worst of acts and it is simply entertaining. I enjoyed this series all bar one episode and I thought it was as good a line up as they have had for years, 3 or 4 could easily have won last night and been seen as deserving. The magician was incredible when he was doing close magic, not so impressed when he did the big magic, especially as Simon Cowell nearly ruined the trick by asking which audience member wrote 'helicopter' on a card and nobody owned up.

That magician is out of this world but being undone by twittersphere

don't think the choir could cheat like the other 2 acts

I'm getting quite fed up with all the dance acts but the second half of the show was pretty good TV. I thought the boy singer was good, fancy trying the dad dancing, the choir and magician were very good and I thought the dog act was really well done

Funny but hid and I saw Micheal Flattely on Friday then he pops up as a guest!

You should have gone backstage and swapped "Hip" stories, his legs are shot

I think that the order that these acts appear can have a bearing, as you have forgotton who came on first and the later acts are still in ones minds eye
So thats Dogs winning BGT 2 years in a row, Next year, Im going to enter with my Amazing Sloth,Nigel. he is good, but you need to be patient :)

He is about 57! Doing Irish dancing all that time I would have thought everything would be shot!

I agree, they seemed to load the back end of the show with the most likely acts! I thought your sloth was called Ian?

I am getting seriously brassed off with Simon Cowell's ever-burgeoning stable of managed talent. He seems to exert (IMO) an unhealthy stranglehold now on an almost global basis on primetime TV shows and 'pop' performers.

It's as if he's decided to furnish the world with entertainment so as we don't have to bother looking for it ourselves. I find the whole thing bland beyond belief and with a few exceptions very little of what he's unearthed thus far interests me in the slightest.

I thought the magician was amazing and wanted him to win. His act was so well done - how the heck did he do it?? The dogs were brilliant but kind of felt the magician guy needed the break more and something to launch a successful career. The young lad Isaac was spine-tingling good and amazing how he could sing with such feeling for one so young...

I've really enjoyed it as it's easy to watch TV with the occasional moment that really gripped me. Get a bit fed up with all the kids and the sympathy votes though - the karate girl was just irritating and probably got through because she blubbed when voted off!

I honestly thought the magician was just amazing. I wanted him or the Choir to win. As soon as that 3 legged dog came out though, I knew she would win.

Not too difficult a trick ...... but do you really want to know how he did it?

"Not too difficult"... hmm in front of a panel of judges, a camera on his hands, millions of viewers on the biggest night of his life, performed exquisitely. Far from 'not too difficult'!!

I didn't say he didn't perform it brilliantly, I said that it's not too difficult for a magician to perform

It is hard to disagree with the above. Mind you, I did happen to catch the guy on the trampoline a couple of weeks ago and I did like that.
