Bridgestone Balls

Afaik the only Bridgestone/titleist connection is when titleist got sued for patent infringement :)

I believe they paid up and changed the prov1 etc very soon after.

Lots of talk of Bridgestone being cheaper.

Can anyone point to a deal for the B330rxs, I have a friend who has just taken up these balls and he paid alot for the dozen he has.

thanks

edit...

forget that, just did a search and found some in golfonline for £25

Not sure there are at the moment, as ChrisD says they can be picked up at a good price, you just have to keep them peeled on the various websites, I have never paid more than £20/dozen.

If I see them at that price ill post up the details....

Just used a Bridgestone ball for the first time last night-E6. Thought it was fantastic really. I have just gotten back into the game after a while off and been through a few brands to see what works best for me and these seem to do the trick.

e5. :)

Not recommended for many apparently, but easily the best ball I've ever used. Distance (driver) spin (wedges) putting, all astonishing.

The only medium cheap ball with a urethane cover.

High spin ball as I recall?

Yes, higher than things like my favourite DX series and Titleist NXT/solo.

It really shows when you catch it good, especially with the driver.

I was getting 300-400 MORE rpm with it compared.

NOT everybody will benefit from this ball. I'd imagine strong hitters who need to calm down their B/S rates will find it impossible to play with, unless they drop down the driver loft, of course.

I've gone from 13.5 degree driver with DX2/3 to 12 degree driver with e5. Both combinations are quite good for me, but the new one has the edge by 10+ yards. I tried using the old driver with the new ball....not good :(

Really like the E6 and Im probaly the only person on here who doesn't like the 330-RX.

Clearly a man with no taste. I bet you fancy Katie Price, drive a Peugeot and shop in Primark

(ps...I've been drinking, please take these comments in the fun manner they are intended :D )

I don't like the posh bridgestone balls.

Katie Price, no ta.
Peugeot, Primark? never heard of them.

better get in some more beers. :)

Id have a go on Katie Price just for the fun factor!!!. I drive a Saab and buy nearly all my clothes from AG because Im sad not a chav!!!

Being serious though, for some reason the RX did not work for me. The E6 is very good for me but at £20 a dozen Id rather stick another tenner in and have Z-Stars.

I am going to get a dozen e7 as they appear to be low spin so low launch with lots of roll. It may be extreme but worth a test for me. I use the NXT Tour that is L-M, I think the e7 is L-L.

Will be interesting.
