Over Summer got more and more dissalusioned with the 'Must play' Titleist Prov1, especially the duller colour it goes quite quickly.

Pro recommended (Highly) the Bridgestone balls for colour retention, length off the tee and spin round the green AND great for putting.....

Sounds well worth a trial so who uses them and is he correct in your opinion?

They are fantastic balls and I've used them for two years now (since nike stopped production of the ONE BLACK).

Which one is he suggesting you try?

I'm currently using the Bridgestone E6+ in optic yellow. Similar to a AD-333 in terms of feel I would say. The covers are just great though. Assuming you don't cut up the cover too much they maintain brightness for ages, even when scuffed a little they seem to be brighter than white and a quick clean leaves them looking much better than white scuffed balls.

Tried some the premium ones over summer and would certainly rate them with the best out there.

Never bought any, but I find loads at my course as they sell them in the pro-shop. All felt good to me and seem to go well which ever model I find :)

Heard some good comments about Bridgestones on here and elsewhere.

The local range has a Bridgestone ball fitting day organised for tomorrow and I was keen to go along but taking my lad to Derby University for an open day so isnt possible to get there- shame really cos it would have been an ideal opportunity.

They are planning another next spring though so will use up my stock of AD333's for now and plan to try at that one.

Their premium balls are seriously good golf balls at a great price.

Can't comment on the other range of balls but the RX and RXS's I tend to use are fantastic and IMO perform as good as and last longer than ProV's.

Have tried the B330S many a time but not a patch on the Pro V1 and miles behind the Penta.

Penta my backside. You get back to work son and contribute when you have something sensible to say!

Good to know. I didn't know how well the RX range would perform as they're "amateur" tour balls as opposed to their proper tour range...Looking forward to using them next season!

The Tour B330
The Tour B330s
The Tour B330rx

went on the bridgestone website and their ball fitting basic guide recommended the Tour B330

just need to get a sleeve of each to try first
