Bridgestone Balls

The Tour B330
The Tour B330s
The Tour B330rx

went on the bridgestone website and their ball fitting basic guide recommended the Tour B330

just need to get a sleeve of each to try first

Interesting that he's recommending them all... Most people would only tend to fit one of those.

For reference.

The B330 is the one I use. It's a very high compression ball with very low spin rates and is a lot firmer than the others. You need to really get a high impact speed and good strike to get a lot out of this ball. But if like me you generate very high spin it will provide a good cure for that.

The B330S is again a fairly high compression ball but with a little less need to compress it as hard as the B330. It spins a hell of a lot more however and I don't like it myself (pitching 9 iron pin high and seeing it zip back 30 feet is not my idea of fun)

Not used the RX myself as now you're getting into the lower compression balls... but I imagine this will be a little more spinny and not as firm.

One thing to note is that the B330 will cause a difference in your short game if you play chips and pitches with a high spin rate. It won't take as much action from a short shot and it will run out a little more than anything else on the market I've found.

Thanks Jonny the B330 sounds ideal, the pro recommended all 3 to try, his preference for me was the B330s as its prov1x I currently hack around with.
I went up to the wrong ball at the first recently as I'd played a spit new prov1x but the whitest ball was a bridgestone my partner was using for his 2nd round:angry: he plays of scratch:cool:

Note: You can get the B330 for 29.99 delivered from AG using their price match guarantee. Stick 29.99 into the tool with internet retailer and it's instantly approved. That's the Direct Golf price but I refuse to deal with them as they are evil and useless.

I have used the E6 ball before and it is a fine alternative to the AD333 or NXT. If you want more spin but less distance, the E5 does a good job as well.

I would certainly say that Bridgestones are worth a go.

3 for 2 at American Golf on Bridgestone Balls this weekend.

Hah! just beat me to it:cool:

It brings down the price of the 2011 Tour B330 and B330s etc to £19.33 per dozen:eek:

cracking deal, I'm buying 3 dozen without even trying them, would be rude not to;)

I bought 3 boxes of e6 last time. They were £19.95 a dozen, but marked down by £5 for fathers day, they then had 3 for 2. and I had just exchanged a £10 tesco vouchers for £20 AGD vouchers. So I paid around £10 for 3 dozen :)

I use the RXS. Great ball and thoroughly recommended. According to the box it is for amatuer swings less than 105mph and the RXS is good for length, has a higher short iron spin rate than the RX and has their maximum rating for softness/feel

B330-s is my ball of choice.

Just bought some from the Golf Depot for £15.99 a dozen, happy days!

Got some orange AD333 to use over the winter though, sick of looking for plugged balls.....

Golf Depot Chester do cracking deals on Bridgestone balls, posted on here a couple of months ago they did the b330-s for £14.99,think they have now gone up slightly

The E5 ball is one of the only Urethane covered 2-piece balls on the market. That's the same cover material as the premium balls and, by all accounts, it spins nearly as much for a fraction of the price.

Bridgestone make a very good set of Golf Balls.

up to £19.99 however its NOT the 2011 ball unfortunately

Bridgestones 3 for 2 at AG until 28/11. So the Tour range works out £70 for 3 dozen or the E range £40 for 3 Dozen, im tempted to get another 3 dozen e6's for the winter. Nice ball.
