I think you just get comfortable with what works for you. I have always played Titleist woods - they just look great behind the ball. Have always felt Mizuno made the best irons so have stuck with them. Have tried several wedges over the year but come back to Vokey as they perform so well. Was always a ping putter man but trying a Scotty Cameron this season as the Dual Balance feels so good.

So tend to stick with what you like and what works - life's too short to keep chopping and changing.

Total brand fan

It has to be ping, mizuno, srixon, cleveland, cobra, galvin green, Yonex, underarmour or one of a few select others.

I might consider adams, MD, JL or one of the niche brands if it came to it.

Some brands I can't stand like Nike, Callaway, TM, titliest even tho I have a TM club.

I like all the brands you don't, apart from agreeing on TM.

Have you considered counselling?

TM is just plain wrong. Even DJ has seen the light.

The full works :)

I may have one or two bits and bobs of Mizuno gear. Bettinardi putter though. And just ordered an Adams fairway.

Have tried many brands against what I have and nothing better. Not saying any were worse, just not an improvement.
And they look good too which is a huge part of having confidence in your gear.

I can see the allure of your happy with a brand but none of my clubs match and doubt they ever will

Titleist and Mizuno woods
Cobra hybrid
Bridgestone irons
Cleveland wedges
Taylormade putter
Stewart golf bag

A mish mash of what works for me, would love to throw in some srixon 745s but then again I think I just want new clubs rather than need them

I've a mix of everything.
Went to a Callaway driver because I find it far more forgiving than the Titleist 910 I had.
I have a TM R11 5 wood.
I have 2 ping G25 hybrids.
Irons are Mizunos because they look right to me and the turf interaction helps with my swing.
My wedges are Cleveland RTX. I had Vokeys but I found that the Cleveland's were a full club longer than the vokeys for the same loft .
My putter is an Odyssey.
And I use WilsonStaff balls.
Oh and I've a mix of shaft stiffness as well..
I just use what works for me.

A bag of liquorice allsorts so to speak.

I've got a mix myself but a growing fondness for Wilson. Cobra driver, MD hybrids, Wilson irons, MD wedges and a Mizuno putter. Would certainly consider wilson from Hybrids down. Difficult to find local stockings though. I do use FG Tour balls and recently tried a Wilson Advantage Cabretta glove that I'd picked up cheap. It's like a second skin and is wearing well. Confident with grip as well.

Previously I'd stuck with Sciflex but I'm going to move to these or at least similar wilson gloves. The advantage is difficult to get now but the comfort appears to be a direct replacement. Around £8 a glove so I'm stocking up.

I like my accessories to follow my woods used to have all cobra now I have changed to Wilson looking at the Wilson flat cap and umbrellas

used to be a ping guy. Irons, woods, hats, towels, bag, tops.then slowly have a bit of everything just because of natural change. didn't like the type of hybrid ping made (more like a driving iron than a wood head) so got a calloway and TM 3/4. Changed my 3 wood to titliest, driver to TM. Hats now mixture of titliest or TM depending what fits my big head. putter was first change to odyssey. Bag to mottocaddy as holds on the trolley better.trousers IJP (best fitting trousers ever made) tops mixture.ball was titliest velocity. recently switched to bridgestone E6 got 10 boxes. (heard they pulling out market) but wanted to get the best out my game so now im a pick n mix

I'm a bit of a Mizuno fan. Partly rational/golf based in that I really like the quality and look of their gear and their brand philospohy, and partly irrational/non golf related, my favourite colour is blue and I tend to like things that begin with the letter M (my initial).

I tend to to stick mainly to one brand. I think it's a bit of an OCD thing with me, though. However, currently I have TaylorMade driver and 4-PW plus 58° wedge, but my other wedges are Cleveland, my 3W and hybrid are Callaway, and my putter is Odyssey.

The worst thing is when you get some idiot fan boy blah on about why *insert brand* is better than yours.

I've generally been swayed on demo days and the results that came from them. I literally just got back from Kings Of Distance and have fallen in love with the XR 16 and the Apex Irons.
