From the limited bits I saw, he missed some glaring chances down to an appalling stroke but instead of drifting off out of contention, showed cahoonas bigger than his gut and hung in there.

That wedge to the last was very impressive in my book.

Admittedly I didnt see all the tournament, but what I did see I thought Stadler could have won by more had he putted well, he seemed to miss a lot of chances, the guy has got a lot of talent, I love Bubba but for a Masters Champion he needs to have more grapefruits. Plus I would put money on Ryan Moore and Matsuyama to win a major in the next few years, those guys are champions waiting to happen and have the nicest swings I have seen in years.

Also I think that 16th stadium par 3 is fantastic, more courses should think about that, when the 'Waste Management Phoenix Open' is getting over 100,000 per day on Superbowl weekend at the end of January, when some European events would not get that in an entire weekend, plus the interaction with crowd is great and shows that the golfers are not all Zach Johnson esq robots
