4 wedges are gay!

60 degree lob wedge has been binned, nothing I can't do just as well/badly with my 56.

Means I can carry 2 iron and hybrid if I really want!

I dropped my 60deg at the start of last year and haven't missed it. I used to carry 47, 52, 56 & 60 but now carry 47, 52 and 58.

I still have space for another club but haven't yet found a need to fill it

Just the PW (using the clock face drill) and SW and only use the SW when absolutely necessary. The 9 iron gets a lot of use as well though.

Only hit 2 GIR :o at Hever Castle today and had 28 putts including 1 x 3 putt and 7 x 1 putts.

Hey. Leftie was HOT today. :whoo:

Cr@p yesterday though and probably will be the same on Friday, next Sunday, Monday, .....

When I first started the game I struggled around the greens with balls rolling miles past the hole. A 60* helped me a lot. Once I started to get better I began to be able to do the same shots with a 52* as my technique improved.
It also coinceded with a change in chipping philosophy. I changed from a "get it in the hole" attitude from poor lies to a "get it to 1 putt" distance, preferably uphill.

Since I took a break from golf and my technique has gone off I would probably benefit from chucking it back in but i just cant do it!

My PW is a chunky cavity back, like my irons - which doesn't leave many options in opening the face, as it just feels like I'll thin it. I know it's a PW, but i couldn't do half shots etc with it, it's just too chunky, provides no feel.

I use my 52* for anything between 50 and 100 yards, full or 3/4 swings, just altering shaft length. I use it for most uphill chips too. I'll use the 60* to lift over rough or a bunker if required, and for most chips around the green. Probably still the club in the bag I have most confidence with.

Its horses for courses though. I have experimented without the 60 and now I don't miss it. I'm actually thinking about ditching the 52 and going to a 50.

i did the same from 52 to 50 and it was a great change fore me much better distance gap between clubs,
