Boa Shoes - Washing Machine

Hi All,
Quick one, I usually put all my spikeless shoes in the washing machine. I have just bought some with the BOA fastening system. Has anybody put these in their machine or would it damage the BOA?

I've stuck a pair of Footjoy BOA's (Hyperflex) through the wash a couple of times....no issues, the BOA system still works fine.

I've never though about sticking my golf shoes in the washing machine...I guess it must be ok to do so...though not sure if I'd put a pair with leather uppers in the wash.

Not necessarily okay. Potential to lose waterproofing, they can go a bit tighter. Only do as a last resort.

I’d stick them in a pillow case to try and protect the plastic parts. On higher spin rates they’re at risk of getting bashed up.

Mizuno specifically advise against it for their boa shoes with man made uppers.

i have two pairs of adidas forgefiber Boa golf shoes ( 2019 ) and both pairs have had at least 8/9 visits to the washing machine . A nice clean and freshen up . Never had any problems .

I wouldnt suggest putting any shoes in a washing machine.....but then you might expect that.
