BMW coverage irritations?

Sitting watching the BMW and I am getting totally brassed off with two things

The flippin adverts from Callaway, you know, the ones where they play on rooftops - pure pish!

That flippin Mark "I could play every shot better" Roe - if you were that good you would have won every comp you played in!


AmI alone in my thoughts?

Golf advertising in general annoys me. There are so few adverts that they repeat endlessly. They are so American with gimmicky plots or tag-lines that it makes my teeth itch and there is no end to the number of Pro's telling you that by buying this or that you can play like them... If only it were that easy!
Oh and yeah, the Callaway ads, like I will EVER be playing roof-top golf, so guess I don't need Callaway sticks in that case eh!?

And I agree about Mr Roe something about him I don't like...

Though I am sure in 'real life' he's a perfectly affable chap...

Only thing thats bugging me Chris is the fact that iv been in work all day and seen sod all Golf.....Im now at home checking to see what time the highlights are on and what do i see 12:30 a.m.....WTF.......

The Beeb really went out on a limb there to bring me up to date on the days scoring.....
I might as well put on some bacon and eggs for myself at that stupid hour.....

And ill echo your words on Roe....I cant stand him....
Him now and holmes should be put commentating on kayaking or something off the wall like that.

I don't mind Mark Roe, He's far from the best pundit out there and he can be a bit over enthusiastic, but I suppose, like David Howell, they've been given a chance at the job and they're both trying to make the best of it in their own way.

Apparently they were both really popular guys on tour, It may explain how they got the pundit jobs with sky.

... and there was me thinking that they just foisted this nausiating berk on me because I forced a better deal out of Sky, and as a result they earn less money from me now

Have to agree....Gimme the Beeb over sky any day.......I gave up my sky subscription because of ridiculous ads.

European tour coverage on Sky is OK.. But nothing will ever beat the Beeb mainly because of the lack of adverts..I agree with Imrug..when Sky take coverage from USPGA I switch off..

i just tape it and watch it later, FF all the advert and save an hour
