Sorry to bask in the after-glow, but I have to report on one of, if not the, best rounds of my life.
On Saturday gross 68 off 10.
I had 3 birdies, which in hindsight was poor as I has 12 very gettable birdie putts but tee to green I cant remember playing so well. And I won the comp, first win for about 17 years, mind you until last year hadnt played for 16yrs.
I know the grumps on here will say winter golf, using ,mats, holding greens etc...but I dont care.....the hard part is keeping at a similar standard from now on.
Playing on Wednesday at Fleetwood, great links, so hopefully will have more of the same.
