Gutted, took a days leave so I could have a playing lesson starting @ 8.30am, then 18 holes with the society at my home track.

Course closed due to fog, only good thing that came out of it was a full english while I waited to see if the fog lifted. :D

Waited till 11am, then gave up, hope its better weather on Saturday. As couldnt even get on the range as couldnt see the ball flight.

Anybody else have a waste journey or day off today?

It's been mild weather all week then wednesday night fog and -6 temp, then today no warmer than 3 degrees, so at least -6 again tonight so winter greens here I come tomorrow. Was so looking forward to some normal green action! Oh well, roll on spring!

Well another bleeding wasted weekend, can't even see the houses over the road, so pointless even trying to get a game.

Bless the pro though, trying to get people down. I phoned to see what it was like at the course, he said pretty thick but it may lift soon. No chance, called him again, he said a coachload had just turned up for a society day, at least they will get a full day in the 19th.
