Black R1 in the works

But the fact still remains that Benoit Whatshisname of TM said that White was THE BEST colour for drivers.
So by TM's own words it can't be as good as the white R1...

It may not be as good as the white version but it would seem market forces using opinion on this thread as a straw poll exist that a black version is/would be in demand.

Might well be the best colour for setup and alignment for most people, but performance will be the same.

Of course it will
But TM are going to produce a driver in black when they have come out and said White is best?

Therefore it must be inferior....

I guess its Catering for the market , theres probably loadsa people who wanted the club but didn't like the graphics on the white one , so heres an option for them ..

Looks WAY better in black!!!

This is the best idea since white....

Correct, at the end of the day these companies are out to make money and if TM in doing market research realise they are losing customers because they do not have a black offer then they MAY launch one to generate this loss of revenue regardless of what the actually think.

Agree Ian.

They won't say that though, obviously.

They're just after targeting a different audience for folk, like me, who wouldn't buy a white headed driver no matter how good it was.
