Sorry to hear about your mum, Billy.

I went through the same thing earlier this year when my dad was diagnosed with inoperable cancer and passed away in March.

As other have said on here make the most of your time with your mum and keep up the golf as you do need a break to put things in perspective.

Thanks for all your kind words and support folks.

You're a good bunch of people.

Mum is home now (having spent some time in respite care in a local hospice) and feeling pretty good considering.

She's enjoying food and a glass of wine or two before turning in each night. Under the given circumstances, things are as good as they can be and she's almost back to being herself for now.

She took me for a tenner last week over a game of Ludo
