New year, feel like a change in irons! Can't afford branded new bats and found myself looking back through the annuls of time! Found a good deal on Big Bertha 06 irons and and am thinking about taking the plunge! I play off 16, 77mph iron swing, shallow and still like a bit of forgiveness. Anyone played these back in the day? Hoping quality stands the test of time

They'll still work as well as they did on day one.
A bit chunky, hugely offset and a bit "agricultural", they weren't Callaway's best but they'll do a job.

Have a look on eBay at Benross.
You’ll get a newish model for a good price.

I used them for about 3 years never broke 100 with them and didn’t like the pitching wedge that came with them. Bought some mizuno jpx ez 2014 model and broke 100 first round with them not looked back since would recommend having a look at them not much more than the big berthas if you bide your time on eBay.

I know people will say it’s the player not the clubs but just my opinion

Got a set of these in my garage
Won’t win any beauty contests
But a doddle to hit.......”cheat sticks” my mate calls them

Top line maybe 3-4 times as wide as my KZG set, with ample offset
But if you can stand the look, then they will do the job, super forgiving
