Best winter courses in the North East

Tbh for original post you can't go wrong with sharply
Greens normally decent and drains very well

I think a forum meet is on the cards

Southmoor is usually decent unless its been proper tipping down

Me and my mate were going to book it yesterday, had a quick look online and it has terrible reviews for when the course is wet. The best one read "Course is absolutely soaking, totally ruined my cream trousers......thank you south moor" hahaha I spat my tea out reading that one!

 I'm not a huge fan of South Moor in the summer, nevermind the winter!

Well that all depends on how far you hit it. Plenty of shape and interesting holes. Only played it once but I don't remember walking off thinking it was a pitch and putt course.

Just googled the scorecard. Shorter than I remember. Maybe you have a point but I personally don't remember it feeling short. It also helps that I am not a fan of long par 4's so maybe it suited my, not that great with long irons, game better.
