As in the title, really.
I'd like to know what is the best app for submitting general play cards to keep my handicap both live and accurate.
Cheers everyone.

Personally I felt the enter score part was pretty poor, but the rest of the app okay.
I don't like how when you view a round on your record it shows the handicap calculated after the round, not the one that was relevant for the round.
To OP, what other choices were you considering?

Yes, its brilliant and pretty idiot proof

I'm an idiot, only tried to use it once and it wouldn't pick up the course.

Just logged onto terminal in clubhouse and did it that way. In fairness I was in a rush at the time.
To be honest don't see the need to use it, like the feel of having a card in the pocket and phone off and in the bag.

You should try both the MyEG app and also whatever method for online score entry there is using your club's handicapping software. Both methods work perfectly well at ours.

But you can do that. Set up the round. Play golf. Enter score on the phone afters .... Much like your own terminal.

I know, using terminal is even more idiot proof for a clown like me.

Using the KISS method ??

The trouble I find, I have been told is my phone and the course where it sometimes does not pick up the satellites in and around the club house and 1st tee. Lat time I tried the EG app it said I was 2.5 miles away from the club when I was stood next tot eh first tee. It was a pretty overcast stormy day though. We use IG and it seems to be pick up where I am very well.

I have talked to some players who say they can register on the EG app before they leave home if they live in the town.

same as ISVs. the geofencing isn’t absolutely bang on, and if you are within about 5 miles or so, the round can be started. this is neither England Golf’s fault or anything else. it’s just the accuracy that we deal with
