Looking at new golf shoes and have worn only Footjoy AQL shoes for the last five years, changing approx every 2 years

My question is i am looking a pair that gives good excellent heel support comfort

After 18 holes my ankles and heels tend to be aching but that may be from my stiff joints !!

Interested to hear from the older golfer on here if there is a good shoe out there as an alternative or should i stick with the AQL ?

Please do not suggest insoles or arch supports !

My chosen size in Footjoy is 10.5

I have Stuburt Helium Tours and I find them great in all areas for comfort and Waterproof ability. Although I know of others who have complaints about them I think that it goes down to personal preference and you can't know until you try them.

I went from AQL to Nike Air Zoom, which have the same air pocket technology that their running shoes have. Very comfortable. I found the Nike's were half a size bigger though so you may be a 10 in them.

Nike Lunars:) So comfy its untrue.. ive had mine all the way through winter still looking good and performing just as I was told they would:)

Have been trying out a lot of shoes lately and think i will go for the foot joy sport seem very comfortable anyone else wear them.

Maybe not the most stylish shoe on the market but I have a pair of Footjoy Contours. Extremely soft and comfortable straight out the box. I went for the boa lacing ones, so easy to find the right tension and once set, they never change.

I also have a pair of Adidas 360 ATV's which I use in summer, also very comfortable and a bit trendier looking.
