BTW, Bluewolf - noticed your avatar. First gig I ever saw was the Pixies at Aston Villa Leisure centre when I was about 13. Thought I was going to die it was so intense!

Yup, saw them at Rock City in Nottingham in 89. I was 15 and spent the entire gig watching Kim Deal... Its still up there with the best gigs I have ever been to... They certainly knew how to ramp up the atmosphere...

Hi all,some great links to great artists and some that i av never been interested in but sound fantastic...

If its most inspirational then it has to be Bob Dylan. Just about everyone has recorded one or more of his songs. Even guys like Springsteen & the Beatles. Quote him as their inspiration. If Springsteen does that. Thats enough for me. End of.
