I put a new putter in the bag for todays midweek medal so wanted to get up to the club early for a wee practice on putting green . Left for the course at 8.20 for my 8.53 tee time (only 5 min drive) so parked in car park set up trolley and leisurely strolled up the drive to the pro shop where upon rounding the corner see my 3 playing partners standing on the medal tee. they said your cutting it a bit fine our time was 8.35 not the 8.53 I thought. So it was a change of shoes and tie laces on tee fearing the worst.
I hit my drive down the middle and walked off with a par at 1st .
I finished up with a PB off the whites= 81 for a net 64 with a run of 6 pars in a row (10 in total)

I have to head off to work now hoping that I get a 1.5 cut which will drop me to 15.0 so cant see me getting much done with my fingers crossed all night

That sounds eerily similar to my warm up :D

Well done on a great score, how often will the refresh button be getting pounded until you find out about the cut? ;)
