Hello All.

I am in the market for some new irons. Playing off 19 (and rising!) for the last 3 years using Slazenger Big Ezee's. (Get the laughing out of the way now!)
I have been looking at the Benross VX-5's as I bought a fairway wood from them and was amazed at the quality for such a low price, and was wondering if anyone had used these irons and could provide any feedback. I only have a budget of around £300.

Any comments/advice much appreciated!

Go out and try everything under £300, one of our members has just had some new titleists custom fitted for £250.

Am pretty sure i speak for the majority of people when i say this but you should have an open mind, try out clubs on the range and go with what you hit best.

Good luck and let us know what you end up with!

Bossman,

I recommended these to a mate lately and he got the full set (4i-SW) for £159 after I did a bit of shopping around on the web for him. They have transformed his game for the better. Look like lovely clubs.

Certainly agree that Benross is great kit irrespective of price. I use a Benross putter and 3 wood at the moment and whilst I am not great with the 3 wood, you cannot knock the quality of the components.
