BBC interviews at Masters

Vaughan was such a poor choice and so clearly out of his depth. Why was Chris Evans was fronting the 5 live coverage. Leave it to experts in their field. Oh that'll be it then. BBC don't have any. I like Ken Brown and have a soft spot for Alliss but Ken is doing the same on course bit every year and sadly even though there wasn't a huge gaff I'm afraid Alliss has just run out of steam. I preferred everything about the Sky coverage and only really watched BBC in the ad breaks

I'm with Homer on this one....Chris Evans??????? What does he know about golf that anybody on this forum doesn't know? It seems that these roles are not decided on merit or competence any more! I reckon he will take over from Alliss when he retires and that the 5 live joby is just a warm up!
Its a toughy but I think I would prefer Roe to Evans!

I don't give a stuff about hearing expert opinions or analysis.

All I want to do is watch golf and chuckle occasionally at the ramblings of whoever's commentating.

As for Vaughan, I reckon playing ANY sport to the level he has and knowing the pressures of top level competition makes him more qualified than any of us, or the other 'celebrities' that make up some presenting panels.

No matter who was doing it, someone on here would moan about them.
