I use a Slazenger push/pull trolley at the moment, I'm happy with it apart from having to twist my bag straight almost every hole. The trolley is light and very practical, but annoys the brown stuff out of me when I look at it to see my bag sideways when it's supposed to be straight.

Are there any hints/tips/DIY attachments people know of that I can use to stop the bag roll ?

Or should I have spent more than £25 on a trolley ?

I find andrex the best to be honest. Double velvet has come along claiming to be "soft, soft, soft" but its nowhere near as nice on your ass as Andrex.......

Oh sorry.....bAg roll......you shouldve spent more than £25 you tight get :p

most pull trolleys i've used suffer from this. i solved it by getting a short strap from halfords (the ones that are used to hold bikes onto a bike carrier) and feed it through the carry strap loop on the bag and round the frame of the trolley and back again. works like a dream.

Then i realised i was spending too much time faffing with a trolley and bag and strap so got a light weight carry bag instead and i'm much happier. Wish i had got a slightly larger bag though!

Nice one ,sums up what that trolley is,£25 i wouldn't even admit to that what a tight wad , get a 3 wheel Sun Mountain there a wee bit dearer but a quality , only thing is you get people saying whats your kid sitting in today or where did you get that Mothercare. :D :D :D

Some bags and trollies already address this. The Ogio Grom has an anti-twist cart strap on the back, and the Powakaddy has a hinged top bag rest that grips the bag when fastened. But as you have neither, I sugest you go to halfords and buy half a dozen bungies, failing that about 100 metres of rope should do. ;) ;)

Tape an old piece of a sponge about 6 in long by 1/2 to an inch thick to your trolley and rest the bag on that, making sure the carry strap hook is clear :D

Is your bag a stand bag that you're putting on the trolley?

My old stand bag did exactly what you said, now have a cart bag and never had and problems.

Oh, my trolley cost £5 from M&S.

I'm using my Cobra CRC09 Cart Bag, on a trolley I got from JJB back in February, it's the Slazenger Superlite. I'll try Bob's tip, if that fails, I'll get a new trolley methinks.

Any recommendations for a trolley then ? I don't want a motorised one, not yet any how.

I'd suggest having a look on the interweb thingy as there are loads of good trollies out there. It is one of the reasons I stopped using a trolley. I seemed to spend so much time worrying about the bag staying on properly or twisiting so I couldn't get stuff out of pockets that it completely ruined my golfing concentration.

how much is a decent 3 wheeler/powakaddy? im looking for one for this season....hopefully playing in the NI amateur event and maybe the bushmills.

I paid £70 i think for my Powakaddy (obviously not electric for that price) but to be honest, I wish i'd got something else!!

The front wheels are way too close to the rear wheels and it results in my trolley being very unstable when its on a slant. I'll be getting a new one soon....

Well I paid £15 for my trolley too (partly because I'm a tight wad but also see post on "Does you wife know how much you spend..." thread)

As the only bag I've got is a stand bag, I just feed the strap around the (folded) legs when it's on the trolley and hey presto - no twisting.
